I am a writer and outdoor professional. I am enjoying days out of civilization, and those spent in the big cities.

I like perspective of vision, when you spend a lot of time off-grid, it gives you unique angle of view. Civilization become something precious which you want to drink with a small sips. 

In 2018 I traveled around South America in the most outdoor way possible. Here I share my professional knowledge.

Der Vogel

Writer and outdoor professional. In 2018 Der Vogel crossed the continent of South America solo. He is not concentrating on any particular type of outdoor activity, but for this journey he chose a bicycle, through the lens of its convenience, adventure and closeness to nature. At the core of his professional activity is laying his professional knowledge, course, which he developed for other outdoor enthusiasts and lovers after closely researching expedition activity field and then checking his observations (in the field) during the journey in South America.

The bottom line: I believe that you have to walk through vulnerability to get to courage, therefore…embrace the suck. I try to be grateful every day, and my motto right now is “Courage over comfort.”

I do NOT believe that cussing and praying are mutually exclusive. And I absolutely believe that the passing lane is for passing only. I’ve been married to Steve for almost 25 years, and we have two amazing kids, Ellen and Charlie, and a weird bichon named Lu
